![]() Very, very disappointing, and not far off being a rip off. This software is clearly not fit for purpose on Windows machines, so why are you still taking people’s money?ītw, since Spotify announced their upcoming split from 1st July, I put Tidal on a month’s trial, and the problem persists with their music too. I also notice that this problem has been apparent for at least a year, so why are we all suffering the same fate, and yet nobody appears to have resolved this. It’s now at the point where the software is completely unreliable, and cannot survive an hour without crashing. I see even Spotify has given up on DJ Pro… For me, it worked perfectly on my Windows 10 laptop up until two months ago, and since then the problem has become more frequent. ![]() I have a big even coming up and need something that actually works. There’s no way I can show up an an event and have to restart my pc 3 to 4 times within two hours, leaving everyone in silence. Then, I start it up again after yet another laptop restart, and set it to automix again (these are all on automix) and then the program crashes to desktop. Nothing shows up in the gain meter inside the program either. ![]() Started the program again after restarting my laptop and it gets to another song and it looks like it’s playing, but there’s no audio output. Then, the playlist in Djay Pro gets to a certain song and it can’t load it. I checked the cable and it’s in good condition, plus it only happens with Djay Pro open. I opened up Djay Pro and started getting screen flickering, the sort you would get if the cable was shorting. I put spotify on “play” all day yesterday. Which OS version is running on your device?.If you send it to me, I will forward it to our developers so they can investigate this issue. So let us investigate why djay is crashing on your device. Used in a mobile setting I can see a lot of DJs undermining their own best potential by letting the "mix" get in the way of the music.I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing this inconvenience. Other than that, mobile gigs need to have more accelerated mixing than a club (more songs packed into less time) and if it's a diverse age group like weddings people respond better to tracks that are true to the radio version they know and like. I suppose if you work with emcees and dancers that teach and lead group dances the FX would provide a nice simple way to bed the instructions/follow along segment with rhythm and key music without revealing the full track prior to kicking it off. Those features would have been nice to have BITD in the club but, don't matter much too me today. The edits that do get requested (or preferred by me) tend to be rather simple and involve only the need to remove or extend something. That's not the case with social events and mobile DJs. If I were getting paid exceptionally well to make custom edits and remixes for dancers, instructors, and fashion shows, that might peak my interest.
